Everything You Need to Know About the Godzilla and King Kong Event in Call of Duty Warzone ...

Call of Duty: Warzone has had a slew of seasonal events, from the spooky Haunting of Verdansk to the story-focused Hunt for Adler. Now, two massive and iconic creatures have found their way to Caldera, as players can battle with King Kong and Godzilla.

This Call of Duty: Warzone event has proved quite divisive since it was launched, with streamers and content creators like NICKMERCS and Dr Disrespect criticizing it for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless, some players are enjoying it, and it is as little as worthwhile to try out due to the spectacle alone. Rather, they will want to keep a few things in mind before players load into a match of Operation Monarch.

Operation Monarchs Ruleset

The most important thing to keep an eye on about Operation Monarch is that, despite the horrifying appearance of huge monsters, the main objective is still that of a traditional battle royale mode. As such, there are reasons to shoot at the monsters and other players, but it may be best to avoid conflict and concentrate on dressing up for the first few minutes of the match.

Operation Monarch follows resurgence guidelines, which should be familiar to Rebirth Island players. For those who are not as familiar with the concept, this means that players will be able to respawn after a certain period of time as long as someone in their group is still alive. However, the surviving player getting kills will enhance the respawn timer, adding a risk reward algorithm to incentivize players to risk a fight. Some, however, it will be best to hide until the team returns.

Intel, a powerful structure that can be found through crates and picked up from dead enemies, can be purchased from damaging Kong and Godzilla. As players fill the bar, they will unlock loadout drops and killstreaks. A special killstreak that briefly gives them control of King Kong or Godzilla.

How The Titans Work in Operation Monarch

The killstreak in question is called the S.C.R.E.A.M. device, which allows players to use either a Heat Ray from Godzilla or a ground pound from King Kong. Once marked, everything in the area will be hit, with these attacks being extremely effective. Only one S.C.R.E.M. device can be used at a time, though, ensuring that Kong and Godzilla are not constantly attacking the player.

Both Titans will use a slew of attacks during the match, with Godzilla buffing his Heat Ray and Kong around the map to damage a number of areas. While players may run away, the group that does the most damage will automatically receive a S.C.R.E.A.M. device. Both creatures can be tuese.

Players will sadly not be able to fight from Kong and Godzilla until they arrive. This has been criticized by Call of Duty: Warzone players because they used the Godzilla vs. Kong promotional material. However, as of now players should not be expecting to see them play in an Operation Monarch game.

Exclusive Event Rewards for The Special Godzilla vs. Kong Bundles

Three special bundles have been added to the game to commemorate this event. The first two bundles focus on Godzilla and Kong. The Godzilla Tracer Pack also provides Shigenori with a mask and a special outfit, with a number of vibrant blue colors. The Breath of Godzilla Mastercraft weapon also includes a Calling Cards and Emblems.

The Wades Kong Operator skin is part of a package that includes three Legendary blueprints and the skin itself, as well as fans of the Godzilla vs. Kong movie can use the monkey mask immediately making the outfit stand out. The final bundle is for Mechagodzilla, which includes two blueprints, and a weapon sticker and title. Those who purchase the three will receive the Apex Phase Rifle SMG.

There are eight challenges, all outlined in the Ancient Rivalry Marksman Rifle blueprint. The challenges are as follows.
