Link Attacks in Eiyuden's Chronicle: Rising is explained ...

In the Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, Link Attacks is one of the most powerful combat tools you will be using, whether you are playing in its default mode or in the Simple Mode.

This is basically a chain of attacks that will save time and place your current character in your party. The best part about it is that Link Attacks produce a significant amount of damage with not-that-much of a cooldown and no cost at all. Lets get started on this topic.

How To Do A Link Attack

To do a Link Attack, you must have at least one other character in your party. This is because Link Attacks are basically a combo move with a tag system, in which youll quickly alter your character and perform a move with the one summoned like if this was a fighting game with a tag system.

Garoo is the first character to appear on your party during Main Quest 5: The Miner, the Merc, and the Smithy. This is unmissable, and the plot will not progress without it.

To complete a Link Attack, you only need to press the attack button of the character youe not using at the moment after doing one attack with your current character on the screen. For example, if youre using CJ, you must do an attack with her (a ground attack or an aerial one, its the same), and press the button assigned to Garoo at the end of the initial animation attack.

It will depend on how you play, but a good strategy to do Attack Links is to deal with some damage with your regular attacks while being close to finishing the enemy. This is because you will be exposed for a second or two after the move, giving the enemy the ability to punish you if you didn''t defeat them.

It may sound odd at first, but the opportunity window is quite generous. When you see the damage, you will be doing Attack Links without much trouble. It''s important to remember it once more.

This ability has a cooldown and you cann''t use it once more after performing it once. There is a need to wait for a distinct sound that will reveal the charges.

If you play in Simple Mode, you have to skip the explanation we just did. This is because when playing in this format, youll only use one attack button for every character, and the game itself will make you chain your moves without checking on timing or anything.

How To Upgrade Link Attacks

When you unlock this ability, you''ll have the ability to perform two Link Attacks in a row. When you want to begin it, you will be able to tap another character, who is now in charge.

It might sound like these two additional enhancements might work like this, but the best part about this flexibility is that you can improve it, increasing the number of times you may chain a Link Attack.

In order to complete these tasks, you must complete your stamp cards. A few moments after beginning your journey, youll receive the silver stamp card, which requires 30 stamps to be completed. Generally, you must complete both main and secondary quests.

When you enter your quest menu, you can always check if youre going to receive a stamp.

Complete the card and you''ll receive the possibility to execute an additional Link Attack. You''ll also receive a new stamp card, but this will require more stamps than the previous one. (For example, the gold stamp card requires 50 stamps).

You may actually get the ability to perform infinite Link Attacks in a row, but you''ll be able to do this at the end of the game. You will need to have 160 stamps in total and redeem them for the most expensive item in the Trading Post.
