Scuf is launching a Build-Your-Own Controller Program ...

Scuf Gaming, a leading Corsairs peripherals manufacturer, has just launched the PS5''s first third-party controller. The Reflex comes in three different versions, starts at a staggering $199, and is packed with features such as a new paddle control system with four removable and reprogrammable back paddles.

The Reflex we saw at the start of the announcement was a dark grey and black affair with very little color to make it stand out. Today, Scuf has announced a new selection of customizability options that do significantly more than just add a little color to its expensive PS5 controller.

Scuf is adding 32 new faceplate color options, including wild designs and hue combinations. Red with yellow and blue splotches, neon blocks with white brush strikes, dots and lines, and more. Each faceplate can be mixed and matched to create your own unique combinations.

New thumbsticks, touchpads, buttons, triggers, and bumpers are all available, as well as new trigger styles, thumbstick shapes, and more. Here''s how to get your approved version here.

  • 32 faceplate colors
  • 9 touchpad colors
  • 9 faceplate trim colors

"Controllers are a major component of the player''s ability to increase their performance and personality." According to Diego Nunez, director of gaming at Corsair, the new SCUF Reflex options allow you to create and customize a Reflex controller that suits your gaming requirements and meets the consumer''s expectations. The Reflex was simply created to be just that. Now, all you have to do is make it yourself.

Corsair didn''t specify how much each of these new faceplates will cost, but you may check them out over on Scuf''s website to see more.
