The first story trailer for Dying Light 2 has been postponed until September ...

The first story expansion of Dying Light 2 will not take place this June as predicted, but will be launched in September.

On what appears like a delay day, Techland joins Bethesda in requesting fans to wait a bit longer. Prior to Dying Light 2, its developers presented a post-launch roadmap, revealing that the game''s first major story DLC would be released in June, just four months after the launch. However, things do not always progress as planned, and Techland has confirmed that it requires some additional time on the DLC.

"Dear Pilgrims, your feedback is always of paramount importance for us, and we want to be honest and transparent with you. The first story DLC will still be released in September.

The studio previously stated that the first expansion will not take place following the main game''s events, but will instead take place alongside it. However, the team is considering several other DLCs to pick up from the end of Dying Light 2, and has already "some promising ideas."

The first chapter of a mode entitled "In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner" will be showcased in June, with new enemies, bounties, and side missions. Fans may also expect the highly anticipated photo mode feature to arrive next month.

The developers apologized for the delay and updated the road map for Dying Light 2 you can see above. As seen, fans may expect the second chapter with new content to fall in September, extending the project further.
