Due to some recent Silent Hill leaks, the Bloober Team is talking about the town at the moment, and fans are looking for more information. One brave individual has decided to put extra effort on the fire by discovering a licensing agreement between Sony and Bloober Team, which appears to have apparently developed a PS Plus arrangement behind the scenes.
A user on ResetEra first saw the company on Monday, and Bloober Team and Sony have recently "negotiated a substantial license and distribution agreement," which would allow the company to distribute certain Bloober Team games in the "new distribution system." This description is somewhat vague and complex, although it may have an impact on Sony''s new PlayStation Plus subscription program.
It''s also left to debate whether this licensing agreement is referring to Bloober Team''s future titles or just its back catalog. A number of games currently on PS4 include Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, and The Medium, which came to PlayStation 5 last year. However, Bloober Team certainly has at least a large range of games that would enhance Sony''s new PS Plus service, particularly for horror enthusiasts.
The Silent Hill leaks need to be investigated, according to Bloober Team, the creator of a rumored Silent Hill revival, and this new licensing and distribution agreement might be Sony going on to get a fun exclusive/day one package for PS Plus, similar to that of A Plague Tale: Requiem. This is completely conjecture, however, so we''ll have to wait for an official announcement from Sony or Bloober Team before we can see their cooking.
Konami appears to be adamantly determining to remove these leaks from social media, implying that they might be legit. Several screenshots of what appears to be a new Silent Hill game leaked earlier today, showing off a potential protagonist as well as a piece of concept art allegedly created by legendary artist Masahiro Ito.
