James Sutton, star of Hollyoaks, has shared a body transformation on his Instagram.
The actor, who has played John Paul McQueen on Channel 4 since 2006, took to social media to snap a picture of himself over a year ago.
In 2022, he followed the process with a picture of a more muscular physique, confirming that he had lost a stone.
James taught his followers that he is "more motivated" and "more productive" since joining a new gym and lifestyle program, as well as feeling the benefits of his self-esteem.
It comes after James and Gregory Finnegan, who plays Hollyoaks, told the audience that they had teamed up for a new TV program outside the soap.
The two actors are filming a pilot episode of a half-hour comedy series called Doctored, Digital Spy has learned, with the two writing, producing, and acting alongside a brief film.
"That''s a WRAP on #Doctored," James said of the filmmaker, who received thanks from the bottom of our hearts for giving up their time. Without your passion, your unbelievable talent, your sense of humor, and your PATIENCE, it would not have been possible. It''s been a joy to witness these events."
Hollyoaks'' co-star Bobby Gordon (Toby Faroe) and Gregory''s wife Ariana Fraval will play the show in the future.
On Hollyoaks, James'' character is seen fighting his alcohol dependency in a contemporary narrative.
Hollyoaks gets the first episode on All 4, with new episodes falling from Monday to Fridays on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4. Some omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
