Alan Ritchson, who plays Alan Reacher, is expanding into the Fast & Furious franchise.
According to Deadline, Ritchson''s role in Fast & Furious 10 or, alternatively, Fast X is currently being kept under wraps.
He will complete a huge list of newcomers, including Brie Larson from Captain Marvel, Jason Momoa, and Daniela Melchior from The Suicide Squad.
Vin Diesel had previously announced Larsonas as his new family member on his Instagram account, promising her character to be a "timeless and amazing" addition to the franchise.
Momoa revealed that she had joined on board as a fast X villain, playing "a very flamboyant bad boy," while Melchior was cast in a still-unidentified role.
We''ll have to wait until we understand who Melchoir and Ritchson are.
The main original cast members of the franchise have announced that they will return for the tenth installment in the series.
Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris ''Ludacris'' Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Jordana Brewster will all be reprising their roles, as well as Charlize Theron''s Cipher, who was previously featured in The Fate of the Furious.
However, a key member who will not make a comeback is director Justin Lin, who after five films, decided to take a step back from the Fast & Furious family.
Louis Leterrier, the director of The Incredible Hulk, is set to replace Lin.
The filmmaker of Marvel has a long list of successful films, including 2013''s Now You See Me and 2019''s animated series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Ritchson can be seen playing the titular character in Reacher, an Amazon Prime Video show based on Lee Child''s Jack Reacher book series until his next role on the next action-packed blockbuster.
The programme has been reimagined for a second season.
Jon Gunn''s Ordinary Angels will play him alongside Hilary Swank, a two-time Academy Award nominee.
Fast X is out in cinemas on May 19, 2023.
