In a new animated Apple TV+ film, Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, and Simon Pegg star in the Luck Tease ...

Apple TV+ has decided that fortune is on our side by presenting this morning a teaser trailer for Luck, an upcoming animated movie that will premiere in early August. Sam (voiced by Eva Noblezada) is the world''s unluckiest girl who somehow stumbles into a luck center in which all the good and bad luck are manipulated by magic and technology. What are the chances? Were on the verge of finding it.

The first teaser trailer covers a lot of ground as it introduces us to this new world. Presented by Bob the Black Cat who is quick to highlight that seeing a black cat in Scotland is considered very much the opposite of bad luck. In this land, you may find everything from winning lottery tickets, four-leaf clovers, to horseshoes, and others.

The Bobs tour shows how fortunate the inhabitants of the land of luck are, of course, when they are hit by speeding automobiles or falling into holes. Bob then shows them the good and bad luck departments, who are dedicated to dealing small fortunate and unlucky situations in everyday life. It''s a perfect location, except for one little detail revealed at the end of the teaser: An arrival that changes everything for forever.

Peggy Holmes, who follows up on her directorial debut Secret of the Wings, plays Luck as a choreographer in upcoming movies like Hocus Pocus, Jury Duty, and Rock Star. The screenplay is written by Kiel Murray (Cars 3, upcoming Knights of the Zodiac).

Jane Fonda (Grace and Frankie), Whoopi Goldberg (Sister Act 3), Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible film series), Flula Borg (The Suicide Squad), Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Colin ODonoghue (The Right Stuff series), John Ratzenberger (Cheers) and Adelynn Spoon are some of the cast members of Luck''s voice cast.

Apple will offer a deeper view of the movie a month after the Annecy International Animation Film Festivals Work in Progress sessions. Director Holmes and key members of the animation team will provide first-look footage of the family journey as well as discuss the creative journey that led the story to life. The event will take place on June 14.
