CBS has placed a number of shows on the cancellation chopping block, including the medical drama Good Sam, which will be completed after only one season.
Good Sam is followed by Sam, a well-known yet troubled heart surgeon who must step into a leadership role as surgery''s head when Rob Griffith Griff (Jason Isaacs) falls into a coma. But there is the added detail that Griff is her father, who also tries to remain close to his duties, even as Griff challenged her strengths.
The Crowded Room, which was developed by CBS in 2019 and started in January of this year, with 13 episodes. According to Nielsen statistics, Good Sam was averaging just below 4 million total viewers at around 3.6 million with a 0.4 rating in the key demo. While these numbers don''t appear to be too bad, Isaacs has recently joined the cast of the Tom Holland-led series.
Katie Wech was the lead character on the documentary, directed by Tamra Davis. Along with Isaacs and Bush, Michael Stahl-David, Edwin Hodge, Skye P. Marshall, and others were star performers. Wech, Jennie Snyder Urman, Joanna Klein, Frank Siracusa, and John Weber also produced the documentary Good Sam. Productions & CBS Studios
Good Sam was not alone when he was placed on the chopping block at CBS. Other shows that Good Sam will be attempting to join in are B Positive, How We Roll, and Magnum P.I.
