Welcome of Wrexham, the docuseries that will follow the titular town''s football team purchased by Ryan Renolds (Deadpool) and Rob McElhenney (Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia), will be announced on Wednesday, August 24, 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
The first two episodes of the series on FX will feature an episode streaming the next day on Hulu. The Wrexham Red Dragons, a struggling club in the National League, the 5th tier of the English Football League, and the oldest professional football club in the world, were purchased by Reynolds and McElhenney in November 2020 and were officially named the owners of the club in February 2021.
