The First Two Trailers for Netflix's Resident Evil Series Have Changed Up The Origin Of The T-Virus

The First Two Trailers for Netflix's Resident Evil Series Have Changed Up The Origin Of The T-Virus ...

The owners of the Resident Evil franchise have always sought to keep the flame going in one direction or another. Last falls cinematic attempt Welcome to Raccoon City was not exactly working as planned, which was particularly disappointing for me, as I was a fan of the idea of a quick reboot to Resident Evil. Since then, Netflix has certainly had its work cut out for it because to a streaming series adaptation on the 2022 television schedule. Now we have our first look at not one, but two trailers that do alter things up,

So far, I like what was shown, and it is because of these changes to how Resident Evil is being brought to life this time out. Before I begin to dig deeper details, you should check out the first teaser trailer here:

If you like what youve seen there and want to look deeper, the official website for the Umbrellas latest consumer product has a further look at whats coming down the line. However, it is now time to dig into the new features that make this new Resident Evil project so enticing.

This Time Wesker And Umbrella Are More Prominently Showcased Than Ever

Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick) and the Umbrella Corporation are almost always portrayed as the shadowy antagonists of any narrative they are a part of. The new Netflix series has made a significant leap from the box office, as Wesker is a key component of the show. It appears like it was about to get an inside look at Umbrellas'' current operations.

If that''s not enough, showrunner Andrew Dabb told EW that the changes behind Wesker himself have a fun part to play. For those who want to know how this series fits in with the original Capcom games, be sure to get caught off:

If you know the games, Wesker is dead. He was blown up by a rocket launcher in a volcano. So, everything in the games is alive in this world. So, how is He alive today? I will say stay tuned and the answer is not like, ''He''s immune to lava.''

A new Wesker has arrived, and he is still connected to all of the crazy things thats happened in the Resident Evil games. What''s even crazier is that the previously bankrupt Umbrella Coropration appears to be returning, and with a new product on the market.

Joy: The Umbrella Corporations Latest Designer Drug

Resident Evil, a leading biotech company, is introducing this round of T-Virus mayhem on its website. Despite the fact that Joy is known to treat everything from OCD to ADHD and anxiety in the run-up to. However, as Umbrella warns on its website, unwanted side effects may occur if the bear is a cute orange bear as it''s mascot.

In other words, I hope you don''t mind being pushed up to become a zombie in order to improve your mental health. This time out, Resident Evil isn''t digging for gold in the bioweaponry division of Umbrella. Instead of using the T-Virus to produce supersoldiers that cant die, this vicious pathogen is now a prerequisite for wellness; yet again moving back to the classic video game canon.

Resident Evil, a streaming service, has released new settings and new scenes.

The game''s fans are aware that if Weskers'' death is canon, then then the African setting. So in that respect, putting New Raccoon City in South Africa isn''t a completely new setting for Netflix''s Resident Evil series. Yet, still, building a brand new old factory town in that particular country adds fresh hell to the series.

This brand-new adventure adds to that excitement, and another building that isn''t a vaguely Midwestern suburb in the United States is present in this brand-new adventure. Apparently London was reportedly calling to Andrew Dabb and the Resident Evil crew, as the older Jade Wesker (Ella Balinska) almost winds up in a zombie-infested version of that storied city. However, this isn''t just a small underwater simulation of a major city. (

The Plot for Resident Evils is now working with time jumps.

Milla Jovovich''s Resident Evil films were eventually sung together over the course of years. Each movie appears to be limited to a few days at its maximum capacity, which isn''t that far off from the original games establishing their entries over the course of a day or two. As this chronology jumps between the events of 2022 and 2036, through the eyes of Jade Wesker (Tamara Smart and Ella Balinska).

If you wanted a reason why Resident Evil was established for a promising cinematic universe, look no further. For schemes as large as those executed by Umbrella, the long game may be a beautiful thing if you have enough material. This round of undead mayhem strengthens the possibility for narrative rather than combining easter eggs into the mix.

Billie and Jade Wesker may have some sinister origins.

Twins Billie and Jade have some very important issues about their creation. Albert Wesker isnt above using science to chase power and immortality, which already makes his own return something to keep an eye on. Again, showrunner Andrew Dabb dropped some interesting knowledge to this point in the previous interview:

Il vain, but it''s possible that they not be loving children. Let''s just put it that way. He had these children for a reason, and it wasn''t always to take them to basketball games.

Shots of Lance Reddick experimenting on lab animals with the blood of his daughters only furtheren this mystery. Resident Evil wants to explore the world of weird families, especially when there are twins involved. Just because Billie and Jade are potentially lab created children does not mean they will break bad.

Gigantic T-Virus Mutations Are Back, Baby!

As the game progressed, risky creations sped up in Resident Evil films. Somehow, this aspect of Capcom games never sounded similar to those experienced by the T-Virus. The moment that the first giant spider appeared on Netflix, it was clear that these mutations were coming back!

Giant spiders aren''t the limit, as this next chapter will see some absolutely gargantuan aggressors. More specifically, a hungry caterpillar looks like its ready to face Jade Wesker in 2036, and it makes things feel much closer to the games that the Resident Evil team is planning to introduce. All that is missing is the possibility for Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil: Village to appear on the table, and even thats on the table from what Andrew Rabb has said.

As a person who was dissatisfied with the game''s lore, this Netflix series has shown so much promise that Im hyped once more. The changes-ups employed seem to be shifting the franchise to a trajectory similar to that seen on several home entertainment consoles. I hope that feeling will not transform into something more depressing when the show premieres.

Resident Evil will be infected the Netflix library beginning July 16th. The 2022 Netflix TV schedule has all of the information you need to know about it. Well, everything except for a guidebook on how to fend off a gigantic mutated insect. That''s something not even our top minds have yet established.
