This week, Riot Games introduced the new Challenges system to League of Legends, which has given players of all kinds levels of progression. Whether you''re an ARAM enthusiast, a well-known connoisseur, or something else, there are many exciting milestones to come to an end.
While you play out normal games on the Summoners Rift or Howling Abyss, there are a few simple goals, like winning ranked solo queue games, destroying wards or using abilities. These goals are usually achieved while you go about your business, which makes it simple to rack up.
Similarly, the Collection category has a ton of challenges that are based on simply purchasing champions, skins, Eternals, chromas, and logos, making it the most easy task category to complete, since you can technically make your way to completion.
Despite these three categories, there are some challenges that are quite specific and may require more deliberation than playing out a few games. In fact, some of these difficulties will require you to collaborate with your teammates, whether they be random players or a complete stack of your friends.
The most difficult task to complete in League are to complete.
- Death Incarnate: Kill 12 champions within 15 minutes
- Blink and Youll Miss It: Kill champions from full health in 1.5 seconds
- One Stone: Kill two players with one ability cast
- Decimator: Get two pentakills in one game
Leagues'' big durability upgrade will make champions heavier than ever before. Kill-based challenges will be inherently more difficult to complete. For example, the developers will be able to one-shot a target if they are really ahead in gold and experience, or they commit their entire kit and successfully reach their abilities. Both Blink and Youll Miss It and One Stone might be a lot harder to achieve.
Pentakills are already tough to pick up, but teamfights will be so difficult to complete, as the game''s champion roster will be limited by the increase of health, armor, and magic resistance.
Teamwork and Strategy
- Lets Make This Quick: Destroy the enemy nexus in less than 15 minutes
- Elemental, my Dear Watson: Win with a five-stack of champions from Ixtal
- Varietys Overrated: Win with a five-stack of all one class
Some of the Teamwork and Strategy challenges might be difficult to deal with if you have a large number of friends to play League with. Generally speaking, the majority of these challenges are already difficult, but they may be tough, such as winning with an exposed nexus, killing three Barons in a single game, or obtaining a team ace between minions spawning and the 15-minute mark.
The Harmony and Globetrotter sub-categories are much more challenging, as they require players to build specific team compositions to win. However, the Elemental and my Dear Watson challenge require players to compete with five Ixtal winners, but unfortunately, there are only six winners to choose from from the Runeterran region: Malphite, Neeko, Nidalee, Qiyana, Rengar, and Zyra. They neither really make up a balanced team, which makes it even harder to accomplish
- Cant Touch This (ARAM): Win without being killed by an enemy
- Nashor Slasher: Kill Baron Nashor solo
- Double Ace: Have both teams be aced in the same fight
- Not Even Close: Survive champion combat on single digit health
The Imagination category may have some of the most difficult tasks to complete, as it requires players to jump into a wide range of ARAM games. A lot of players don''t touch the mode, but if they want these tokens and titles, they''ll need to bite the bullet and go All Random all Mid for a while.
The Cant Touch This ARAM challenge might be tricky to complete, because it''s recommended you die after a certain amount of time to be able to return to the fountain until they die and respawn. If a player fails, it''s still with the same starting items and the same relative power level for the whole game.
Both the double Ace and the Nashor Slasher are fantastic feats League players are not able to pull off without the right circumstances. Even the most powerful champions will need some help to defeat Baron, while a 5v5 teamfight usually has at least one player left standing when the fight closes unless they are defeated by a random minion, monster, or turret.
The majority of players are unaware of the many damage-over-time abilities in the game, or they are in double-digit health numbers. During regular games, single-digit counts are sparse, but it might happen to you if youre very lucky.
