The G2 Esports League of Legends team have demonstrated, at least for now, that Europe is better than North America in their continued stance at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational. The LEC champions have eliminated the LCS Evil Geniuses and the LCOs with five straight victories, putting them in the tournament''s spot.
G2 have remained the most well-known team in all of their games, from their veteran mid-jungle stars to their flamboyant new top lane and bottom lane combo. According to Oracles Elixir, the new lineup has combined for the third highest level so far, holding only behind Koreas T1 and Chinas Royal.

Their early game play has been excellent as well. They have a massive 2769 average gold difference at 15 minutes, a 100 percent first blood rate, and multiple objective control rates exceeding 80 percent. Their strongest advantage, however, is their teamfighting, demonstrating excellent decision-making and excellent mechanics.
Individually, the mid-Laner Caps has been having an amazing tournament. According to Oracles Elixir, the 22-year-old superstar has the third-most kills of any MSI player with a sky-high 75 percent kill participation rate. He has also featured a smorgasbord of different champion picks for his fans, including an array of analogues and anivia, Galio, LeBlanc, Zoe, and Yasuo.
Flakked has been an impressive player in his first major international tournament as well as leading all MSI marksmen with a 12.2 KDA. Hes only died five times, and he has a large number of competitors in his pool, such as Zeri, Aphelios, KaiSa, and starving Senna. He has been a reliable damage source that can fire away while the rest of the team falls on their opponents together.
G2 gets involved later in the event, when the rumble stage starts on Friday, May 20.
