The introduction of Patch 6.1 of the new Housing system and the introduction of the Empyreum have reached an end to Final Fantasy XIV, where the developer has been locked down for several weeks.
Many players and Free Companies who had won the first Housing lottery tickets were forced to pay, because they quickly reacted by preparing a fix. However, the housing plots may not be purchased anymore. Those who want to try their luck with getting a House under the new system are curious when they can try again. Fortunately, those who have won the lottery tickets cannot wait too long.
When will Housing lottery resume in FFXIV?
According to the developer, the Lottery system will be re-implemented in the game on May 16 after being maintained on all servers. Players will have until May 26 to claim the plot they won or to receive a refund if they lost.
The lottery periods will resume as usual, with five days to enter the lottery for available plots, and four days to claim them. According to Square Enix, players who won the first lottery but failed to claim the plot will earn them as promised.
While players wait for the lottery to resume, the Maidens Rhapsody collaboration event with Final Fantasy XI is still live and will last until May 18, giving players more time to do so.
