The Doctor Who showrunner has confirmed the length of Jodie Whittakers' last episode ...

After three tumultuous runs on Doctor Who, Jodie Whittakers travel as the Thirteenth Doctor will come to a close later this year in October. According to Russell T. Davies, who will be taking over from current producer Chris Chibnall, the characters'' regeneration episode will be feature-length.

Since the casting announcement broke out last week, Davies and his new cast Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa, have been making the rounds non-stop. This time, on RadioTimes, the creative has teased us about the Jodies finale episode and reasserted its runtime.

In October, shes got an exciting finale, epic finale, 90-minute finale. Were gentlemen, its only right and fair to shut up. By 2023, you will be fed up with us, well be everywhere. But until then, we bow to Jodie and love her and step back.

While it might not be for RTDs to begin promoting Jodie Whittakers'' final episode yet, it may be argued that he is officially Doctor Who''s next boss now that Chibnall and the 13th have completed the work on their last rodeo. Besides, producer Matt Strevens had already revealed the regeneration episode was going to be feature-length, so Davies isn''t much spoiling anything significant here.

As for how much of the runtime will involve Ncuti Gatwas next Doctor, the character will probably appear in the final moments of the episode as if his predecessors were, so it''s safe to presume that the film will all be about Jodie Whittaker and her stepping up as the first female doctor in history.
