Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, made an unlikely comparison, implying that Iman Vellanis'' curiosity matches Ted Kaczynski, the mass murderer who was formerly known as the Unabomber.
This hilarious snippet comes with the help of Empire magazine, in which Feige promoted the upcoming Disney Plus series and extolled Vellanis virtues, especially her Marvel knowledge:
Iman, who is similar to Tom Holland and Peter Parker, is a much larger Marvel fan than we anticipated. [On set, she uses this Unabomber notebook everywhere, with scribbles and ideas. Why would we want to hear them? Not only because she is playing the lead, but because if she wasn''t playing the lead, we would be willing to comment on the show online. So better comment before the premieres, and try to incorporate the finest of those ideas.
Ted Kaczynski performed a 17-year mail bombing campaign in large groups of industrial society, which resulted in three deaths and 23 fatalities, and gave him the nickname Unabomber (University and Airline Bomber). But Kaczynski has also become a professional actor, having attended Harvard as a 16-year-old and later written a 35,000-word manifesto with a wide range of influence.
When comparing Vellani to Kaczynski, Feige had the latter qualities in mind. Ms. Marvel, which will follow its titular character who is avid fan of the Avengers and after a series of unexpected events, has started getting her own set of exceptional superpowers.
Check out Vellani in Ms. Marvel when the Disney Plus version comes out this June 8.
