This year, you will be celebrating the 60th anniversary since Peter Parker was first bitten by the pesky radioactive spider in Amazing Fantasy #15, which is now one of the world''s most enduring heroes. To commemorate the occasion, Marvel Comics has announced the release of the Amazing Fantasy title for a giant-sized special this summer.

Amazing Fantasy #1000, which is based on a collection of stories that explore the webslingers past and future in tales that have profound implications for Spider-Man mythos. This one-shot includes contributions from many of Marvel Comics'' most beloved authors, including Armando Ianucci, who is making his grand return to the House of Ideas and Armando Ianucci (Emmy-winning creator of Veep) in his comics debut.

Dan Slott and Jim Cheung unintentionally explore the long-term connection between Peter and Mary Jane Watson in a story set in the far future.
