Sega has provided a presentation for the company for the fiscal year ending March 2022, according to the VGC. Sega has revealed that it intends to "significantly" increase [the amount of] new titles," which includes an increase in remakes and remasters.

Sega''s games on consoles and PC sold excellently in the fiscal year ended March 2022. Sonic Colors Ultimate, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, andLost Judgment have sold approximately 4 million copies. All of the games are considered to be remasters, spin-offs, or change of theme, which explains why the company intends to release more remakes in the next fiscal year.

Remakes and other video game titles sold around 6 million copies in the most recent fiscal year. Sega is making a prediction because it intends to dramatically increase the number of new titles across the globe in the next year.

The most anticipated Sonic Origins video game will be released on June 23, 2022. Origins is a follow-up to the highly successful Sonic Mania video game. There are also reports that Sega is working on large-budget reboots for Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio, which is expected to be discontinued by March 2023.
