Today, the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is one year old ...

For a variety of reasons, Mass Effect is near and dear to several gamers. Even if the Reapers aren''t that old, she may have denied the latest evidence, but there''s still no denying how much love shepard and Mass Effect.

Today (May 14) is a day for celebration, as Shepard celebrated their in-universe birthday last month. It was only released one year ago, and it is for the franchise to boot back up or to celebrate the franchise before of the N7 Day later this year.

Fans wished for the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

It''s no secret that, essentially since Mass Effect 3 was dropped, fans had begun for remasters of the first game, the second game, and eventually, of all three games. It was a clear proof that the game was actually planned, which was so bad that fans agreed to it. And when BioWare and EA confirmed the development, it was an answered prayer for many fans.

If some were concerned, then the explanation would be straightforward. BioWare and EA chose a well-down remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy, but fans have seen this bet so often with other games. Diablo 2 Resurrected, Crysis Remastered, and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition also dropped the ball.

The Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was fantastic. There were performance limitations and other occurrences, but BioWare continued to refine Mass Effects 2 and Mass Effect 3. This was a collected remaster, not a remake. The final result was a game that exceeded fan expectations and was all the better for it.

BioWare might gain a morale boost after undergoing a rocky year, with Mass Effect: Andromeda''s (though its popularity has grown significantly in recent years) and Anthem''s (finally, the game will continue to prosper), but fans are unaware that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is any indication. If Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is an indication, then BioWare is aware of all of its fans'' desires.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
