As the game grows, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim might be over a decade old at this point, but the games'' popularity remains high. The Skyrim Anniversary Edition was first released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S by Bethesda. Although the world has been explored countless times, this hasn''t hindered players from exploiting various obstacles found within the old RPG.

Grelod the Kind, an elderly woman from Skryim, who runs the Honorhall Orphanage in Riften, is used to eliminate her for terrorizing the children she is employed to protect. However, players will often choose a more direct approach as part of Elder Scrolls V. This will often draw attention of nearby guards, meaning players must be cautious about the situation.

To this end, one player has discovered an interesting way of eliminating NPCs without causing any concern. Walter-fring, after sending a video to the Skyrim Subreddit, manages to kill Grelod simply by dropping several weapons on the NPC. The clip shows the player jumping and slowly opening the inventory and from here, selecting several large items that are then dropped on Grelod, killing her instantly.

Despite being in complete view of the incident, a guard who witnessed the event rather than harrowingly warns of the dangers of putting weapons around. After apologizing to one of Skyrim''s most oblivious NPCs, the player is sent on their way, without any repercussions of the crime to blame.

The Redditor adds that the kill is achieved because any in-game items are programmed to damage. The amount of damage depends on how much momentum is gained before it hits anyone. Skyrim is attempting a pacifist run with no kills. Thistrick makes the feat of seeing off Grelod so impressive.

Skyrim has been a popular RPG since it was launched in 2011, and while players are still finding new tricks, it''s almost certain that more fun nooks will be discovered in the future. With Bethesda currently working on the long-awaited Elder Scrolls VI, players are hoping that it will continue to evolve with the same level of freedom.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
