Dungeon Walkthrough

In Brayflox''s Watchbox, you will need to find the Goblin Pathfinder, who will give you the Runstop Headgate key. Use this key on the door of the same name to proceed to the first boss.

After the second boss, you will enter a large room of enemies. Most of these can be avoided, so plan accordingly if you want to fight as few as possible. There are Treasure Coffers to grabs in sections of the room for those who want to combat them extra.

Great Yellow Pelican

The Great Yellow Pelican, Brayflox''s first manager, is joined by three Violet Backs, who will summon more throughout the battle.

  • Violet Backs: These enemies will use Poison Breath, dealing damage and inflicting Poison in an area to their front. This Poison debuff can stack, and should be cleansed using Esuna. More Violet Backs will spawn throughout the fight, so be prepared to pick them up and kill them when they appear.
  • Numbing Breath: The Great Yellow Pelican will deal damage and inflict Paralysis in a cone AoE to its front. Move out of the AoE indicator to avoid taking damage.

While fighting the Great Yellow Pelican, The Tank should be sure to remain the target of all enemies. Other players should concentrate on killing the Violet Backs before attacking the Great Yellow Pelican, as their Poison Breath may become overwhelming for the Healer.

Inferno Drake

Inferno Drake, the second boss of Brayflox''s Longstop, is the Inferno Drake. Despite this head''s lack of unique attacks or mechanics, Brayflox Alltalks will appear in the arena near the beginning of the fight, being chased by a Tempest Biast. Also, the boss will periodically target and attack Brayflox before returning to face the Tank.

During this fight, you will keep focus on the Inferno Drake while keeping Brayflox alive. Target the Tempest Biast when it spawns, and restore Brayflox''s health as soon as possible.

Hellbender

The Hellbender, the third boss of Brayflox''s Longstop, will use the following techniques and approaches.

  • Bog Bubble: Hellbender will target a random player with a small AoE circle attack. This attack can''''t be avoided, so just heal through the damage.
  • Peculiar Light: This attack is a circle AoE around Hellbender that inflicts Magic Vulnerability Up on any players inside the AoE, increasing their damage taken from magic attacks. Move outside the AoE indicator to avoid this debuff.
  • Stagnant Spray: Deals damage in a cone to the front of Hellbender. The Tank should face the boss away from the rest of the party to avoid hitting them with Stagnant Spray.
  • Effluvium: Hellbender will trap players inside a bubble, inflicting the following debuffs on them. Destroy the bubble to remove the debuffs.
    • Bind: Makes you unable to move.
    • Physical Damage Down: Reduces the damage of your physical attacks.
    • Mana Modulation: Reduces the damage of your magical attacks and the effectiveness of healing.
    • Dropsy: Deals damage over time.
    • Destroy your own bubble first, then help other players out of theirs.

When the Hellbender is low on health, the final boss, Aiatar, will jump in and kill it for you. Now, you must fight Aiatar until its health is 80 percent, at which point it will fly away into the back of the dungeon.

Aiatar

Aiatar, the last manager of Brayflox''s Longstop, will inflict Poison with all of its attacks, so the Healer should be prepared to cast Esuna as necessary. Aiatar''s actions and mechanics are described below.

  • Dragon Breath: Aiatar will attack in a straight line AoE to its front, dealing damage and inflicting Poison. Move out of the AoE indicator to avoid taking damage.
  • Salivous Snap: Aiatar will deal high damage to the Tank and inflict Poison. The Tank should use defensive cooldowns like Rampart to mitigate this damage, while moving away from other players to avoid hitting them too.
  • Toxic Vomit: Aiatar will create small AoE circles around the arena that summon Poison Sacs. After a short delay, the Sacs will cast Burst, exploding in a large AoE, dealing damage and inflicting Poison.
    • To avoid this attack, watch where the Sacs are created and move far away from them.
    • Later in the fight, Aiatar will use Toxic Vomit twice in a row, covering most of the arena in Toxic Sacs. Be careful and avoid accordingly.
