Christopher Walken plays in Dune 2 in a big role ...

Christopher Walken reveals the universe-ruling Emperor Shaddam IV in Dune: Part 2.

Denis Villeneuve, a returning director, will star in the sequel this summer, with new cast members in the form of Florence Pugh (Black Widow) and Austin Butler (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood).

Walken, an Oscar winner in the late 1970s, appeared as Burt in Apple TV+''s Severance earlier this year, but Dune is his biggest job for a long time, not just because it''ll feature skyscraper-sized sand worms.

The legend''s involvement was exposed in the Deadline, while Villeneuve himself discussed this time around what he would have to offer for fans.

"When you change [books], you have to make bold choices in order for the things to come to life. I believe that this was the best way to help this world reach a wide audience. I want to have more flexibility now in the second one, and it will be possible to dive deeper into some of these concepts.

"It''s like a chess game." The second part will be introduced, with Paul Atreides'' and the Bene Gesserit, as well as his experience of being in contact for the first time.

"The second part, there will be much more Harkonnen stuff," the filmmaker said. Blade Runner 2049 has confirmed that the film will be successful.

The co-writer of the film Jon Spaihts believes that when the trilogy is finished, it might end with a Dune trilogy.

Part Two of Dune will be released in cinemas on October 20, 2023.
