YouTube has announced earlier today an expansion of its slate of Kids & Family offerings until 2023 with collaborators like Joe Sugg, the Headspace meditation app. (Talk about an eclectic collection.) YouTube says the new developments are a "diverse" and "global commitment to invest in the future of quality kids, family, and educational programs."

A YouTube bulletin cites the following ingredients:

"It''s based on the overwhelming success of the Kids Fund''s 330 million lifetime views, garnering 18 awards and nominations, winning a Prix Jeunesse, a Webby Award, a Content Innovation Award, and a nomination for the Emmy and NAACP Image Award" and presenting one-third of its total content in multiple languages, and it''s expected to meet this year with even more production of quality kids programming."

"Italian Kids & Family has made a worldwide impact with its Originals, relying on the incredible success of the Kids Fund, with over 330 million lifetime views (winning a Prix Jeunesse, Webby Award, Content Innovation Award, and an Emmy and NAACP Image Award nomination) and presenting one-third of its total content in multiple languages."
