There have been rumors that the third film in Jurassic World: Dominion will be the final film. For the most part, filmmaker Frank Marshall has said that a conversation must be taken on the subject. However, senior man Chris Pratt has broken has taken a ton of concern about the franchise''s future.

While talking with, Chris Pratt seemed to counteract the narrative while he talked about the possibilities for the future, even evoking Marvel Studios'' work as he did so:

I think it might... possibly? You look at... There aren''t a ton of comps for this type of thing. I believe this is because you''ve got whatever they were, including ten years of movies. ''This is wild,'' says one of the characters. It''s like, though, that Jurassic would continue to make great things, but I think Iron Man is still gone. Perhaps.

Given his experience with Marvel, the actor would be one to know how cinematic universes will last for years to come. Universal''s storied dinosaur franchise will probably receive another refresh once dust from Jurassic World settles. I mean, it''s like Dr. Ian Malcolm once said, "Life, uh, finds a way."

Colin Trevorrow''s goal is to expand the franchise through 2021. The Prologue, which took place between 2018 and this year, was a success for him. However, based on Trevorrow''s advice on, he would not hesitate seeing another creator take the lead in the project.

There are other ways to expand this iconic IP beyond just feature films. There are also VelociCoaster, for example, theme park rides. So let''s not forget the Animated series Camp Crustaceous (streamable with a Netflix subscription). So whether or not there will be additional films featuring Chris Pratt and his crew, the Jurassic saga will certainly live beyond the upcoming three films.

When Jurassic World: Dominion arrives in theaters on June 10, spectators will get to see the OG and new casts. Be on the lookout for other upcoming films in 2022.
