South Indian cinema has had a great year in 2022, with all of which included Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun, and Alia Bhatt, and the starrer RRR, which was first released on March 24 and it has broken all records. It collected 158.6 crores on its opening day, and has also broken many records.
As KGF Chapter 2 was released on April 14th, a box office monster was waiting, destroying records left, right, and center, creating absolute mayhem at the box office, and amidst the chaos of KGF 2, films like Heropanti 2, Jersey, and Runway 34 all got blown away.
KGF snatched the collections from these movies but its still breaking records as a result of this Bollywoods chance of revival is faded away, and neither a series of flop Bollywood movies from the past few years is helping either, and the South Indian film industry is slowly taking over.
Another controversy sparked in a row as Kannada film industry star Kiccha Sudeep described Hindi as no longer our national language, according to Ajay Devgn on Twitter why he doesnt consider Hindi as the national language, while Ajay completed the tweet with lines from the national anthem -Jana Gana Mana.
Sudeep then replied to the tweet by saying that he respects all languages, followed by another tweet where he apologized and confessed to ending the debate, and also said that Ajay has misinterpreted his statement. Finally, the two sides agreed to leave the Twitter thread on good terms.
Well Ranveers Singh said in an interview that all the industry is ours and Indian cinema is one, and he is a fan of South Indian films and he always sees the movies with the eyes of a professional artist, and in the comments.
He appreciated the south Indian films and expressed his delight at their growth. Well, Ranveer really impressed the fans with his beautiful reply on this topic, and his statement is enough to put an end to the debate.
