Taylor Swifts responds to Joe Alwyn's sexual scenes in Conversations with Friends

Taylor Swifts responds to Joe Alwyn's sexual scenes in Conversations with Friends ...

By introducing some rather enthused and intimate sex scenes, Conversations with Friends will follow in the footsteps of its Sally Rooney remake predecessor, Normal People.

In many of these scenes, actor Joe Alwyn, who plays Nick in the new drama series, a married man who is embroiled in a secret feud with French student.

Alison Oliver, who plays Frances, has now revealed to The Times how Alwyn''s famous girlfriend, singer Taylor Swift, reacted to his participation in the films, revealing that she was not too irritated by them.

Oliver said that the ''Shake It Off'' singer was "totally cool" with Alwyn''s engaging scenes.

She admitted that she was able to see Alwyn and seeing Swift visit the set, as she used to play the singer''s songs on her guitar when she was growing up.

Swift understands that filming sex scenes is all "one of Joe''s job, and that''s all part of the story," according to Oliver.

Swift and Alwyn have been a couple since their meeting at the 2016 Met Gala, but they have always kept their love life out of the spotlight.

Oliver talked about how much she learned while filming her first love scenes, comparing the intimacy coordinators who worked on the set to "magicians."

"They provide you intimacy clothing, like skin-coloured knickers, and you may request pads and stuff to protect you and create distance between the other people," she said. "It''s approached like a trick you are creating an illusion. "Let us be rude, because he would say, "Let''s get the giggles out."

Alwyn himself has previously revealed how he was considering photographing close-contact scenes for the BBC drama series, naming them "essentially choreographed" and "quite mechanical."

Conversations with Friends will be released on BBC Three in the United Kingdom and Hulu in the United States on May 15, 2022. Normal People is available on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom, Hulu in the United States, or to download and keep.
