Cillian Murphy will play Doctor Doom in the next Fantastic Four reboot of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The discussion with @MrNiceGuy513 started in an epic proportions. Despite the fact that many users want to see the Irish actor dressed up as the Fantastic Four''s greatest nemesis, others are not certain.

The actor said, "It''s because [or] the gravitas" for the role, but @HoodOfRed1, who explained that, in lacking those qualities, the actor made a great Scarecrow in the Dark Knight trilogy. He has a more sensitive [sic] ghoulish character.
Hey isn''t the "weight" the "gravitas. He was excellent for scarecrow because he has an even more sensitive, open-minded guy.
victon von doom should be played by a romani actor, according to @BULLSEYESOLOS, while @HSpencer2000 countered with Hes [sic] more known for Latveria, an Eastern European fictional country, than Romani.

As you can see, not everybody is discounted on the idea of Murphy posing the metallic facemask of Victor Von Doom, but he is certainly the kind of actor Marvel Studios likes. He is roughly the same age as many previous, present, and future MCU antagonists, but he is a known actor without being a genuine A-lister in intense roles, and he is equally comfortable in intense dramas than he is effects-heavy blockbusters.
There are a number of other viable candidates out there, however, and with Fantastic Four hitting a minor bump in the road following Jon Watts'' departure, it might be a while before we discover who plays the big bad, if the reboot is even headed down the route marked Doom.
