Next Killer is a big, bony bogeyman. Dead by Daylights ...

Behaviour Interactive, a game developed by Dead by Daylight, showed off a slew of new features in the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game. Each chapter will include a new Killer and Survivor, and two new maps will be added to the game. The Perks system will also be overhauled.

A Daylight match pits four unhelpful Survivors against one powerful Killer. The Survivors have to try to fix shoddy generators and escape through a gate without being murdered, while the Killer is using their unique abilities to stalk and slash anyone in their path.

Behaviour Interactive said the first of the new chapters is called Roots of Dread. A new map has been added to a small American town haunted by terrible secrets. Then there will be a new Killer, the Dredge, as well as a Survivor named Haddie Kaur.

Haddie has shown up in several of the previous Archives events, and she is much more paranormally versed than most of the cast. I''m sure she''s absolutely done with all of this superimposed nonsense, so I''m trusting her with my life.

The Dredge, however, appears to be very creepy, like a terrible scarecrow created with burlap, flesh, and skulls. He has severe misshapen limbs, including one gnarled hook, and a bubble head with a strange, toothy maw. He is certainly the weirdest Killer yet, and he has no understanding or even tragic backstory to justify his crimes.

With Teleport, the Dredge has the advantage of speed and versatility to teleport around rooms, thus providing him with a ton of certainty and surprise power. Lockers are also one of the safest places for Survivors in Dead by Daylight, so this capability is doubly important to Survivors. The Dredge can also plunge Survivors into darkness, putting them in a state of confusion.

On Tuesday, Resident Evil fans got a pleasant surprise; a second licensed Chapter is on the way and will arrive before the end of 2022. Behaviour Interactive has already added the Raccoon City Police Department, a new Killer in Resident Evil 3s Nemesis, and two Survivors with Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy. There are many more heroes and villains to cover, including vampire Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil: Village. It''s also interesting to see who will join Dead

Some of this exciting content is already hitting the public test realm for Dead by Daylight on Tuesday. Some new cosmetics are also on the way soon. Behaviour has announced that it will launch a Attack on Titan collection, which includes ten different outfits from the popular anime, for both Killers and Survivors.
