Fans of Deathloop became more aware of Jason Kelley, who was named for several awards, including a BAFTA and was part of a stacked "Best Performance" categories at the 2021 Game Awards with the likes of Giancarlo Esposito, his Deathloop co-star Ozioma Akaga, and Maggie Robertson, who played Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village. Off the heels of that announcement, he''s now easing that he''s working on
Jason Kelley posted a picture of him in a recording booth eagerly explaining his involvement in a new project. In a follow-up tweet, fans believed Kelley was in the recording booth and quickly said that a Deathloop DLC might be in the works, but the actor was quickly shot down. There has been little discussion about any DLC out of Bethesda or Microsoft to commemorate the game''s multi-platform version.
Jason Kelley''s acting career has spand almost 20 years with one-off roles in television shows. Interestingly, some of his responsibilities include as a Barack Obama impersonator. It''s also known that his tweet is a voice acting role, so it can be assumed its next video game role.
Kelley was in the news in 2021, as he, like many others, struggled to get a PlayStation 5. Bethesda, who currently owns Arkane as a studio, was hooked up with a PS5 before Deathloop''s release so that he might experience the finished result of the game he was developing.
There''s no way to tell what game he might be in next and how significant of a role it might be. Every other video game acting role he has played was for a supporting role except for Colt. It''s unlikely that he would be able to talk about his next role due to NDAs, but his satisfaction for this next chapter shines through in his smile.
Deathloop is now available for PC and Xbox 5.
