Monaco Grand Prix 2022 Preview

Monaco is certainly one of the most popular circuits in the F1 circuit, and it may be pivotal in the championship race.

After completing his qualifying in the Principality, Charles Leclerc''s race took a critical turn. Despite his Ferrari''s power issues last week, Leclerc is now showing his dominance in the early trials. Sergio Perez''s car crashed and Carlos Sainz fell into him in the finals laps.

Perez slid into the barriers at the Portier right-hander before Sainz, in the other Ferrari, came round the corner and hit his rival in order to beat Leclercs a superb lap at the start of Q3.

Sainz is set to join his teammate on the front row of the starting grid after crashing on the late yellow flags when approaching Portier, where he slammed on the brakes, but couldnt avoid the Red Bull car.

With all of this happening, Max Vertappens garage has provided the real news. He was unable to equal Perez throughout the day. Verstappen might end up giving Leclerc the lead after taking it away just a week ago.

One of the greatest disappointments of the season continues to be the performance of Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time champion finished second in qualifying. This was about where Russell was expected to be after disappointing on Friday while retaining a great deal of effort. But still, Lando Norris, who despite all that is still capable of getting some significant results up until now.

George Russell, a Hamiltons teammate who has also finished ahead of Hamilton in the last five races and now leads the seven-time champion in the Mercedes qualifying up until this point in the year.
