Sega will be releasing a "new project" next week ...

Sega''s Twitter account has made an "Urgent notice" about the possibility of a "live broadcast" on June 3 to announce "Sega''s new project."

While we have no way to know what this new project will be, the tweet states that the show will feature appearances by Hiroyuki Miyazaki and Yosuke Okunari, and that it will be hosted by Misuzu Araki. The tweet finally states, "Does that mean?" and depicts a chocolate cake or a pastry in the shape of a Mega Drive controller.

Hiroyuki Miyazaki and Yosuke Okunari, both the speaker, suggest that Sega might be able to unveil a new mini-console in 2019 at the Japanese Sega festival, thus Sega might stick to the same strategy while keeping the duo together.

Sega has been with Sega for over 15 years and is currently a producer working on retro releases that the company has lined up. Miyazaki has previously worked on a number of projects, but his most recent role was the lead on the Mega Drive Mini.

Sonic is probably the most popular IP of Sega. Both games have been heavily influenced by the games, thus the download process continues. A third Sonic film is in the works, and it looks like a pink hedgehog will make an appearance.

Patrick Casey and Josh Miller discussed whether Amy would perform in the third film during a recent Q&A session. Instead of a straightforward "no," the writers argued that everything was still in the works. While this might also mean nothing, as the film is still in the early stages of development and the actors wouldn''t want to give away.
