Yelan is the latest character to join Genshin Impact''s roster, and she''s already making waves for her fearsome and formidable combat abilities. Yelan is a Hydro bow user, but she''s not afraid to get too big in the enemy''s face either. Yelan, from her powerful Breakthrough Barb arrows, her swift and satisfying Lingering Lifeline, and her exquisite Elemental Burst, has all the skills required to handle any type of foe.
Yelan prefers to keep her company behind closed doors; most people believe she is simply an employee of Liyue''s Ministry of Civil Affairs, but she is actually a special assistant trusted by Ningguang to perform clandestine and dangerous missions. This isn''t a line of work that usually lends itself to friends, but you''ll need to surround her with strong teammates. Here''s how to watch out for all of Yelan''s best team compositions.
Yelan''s extraordinary powerful Elemental Burst is able to assist your team''s main DPS. Every time your active character uses their DPS, Yelan''s Elemental Burst, Depth-Clarion Dice, will initiate coordinated Hydro strikes. In addition, Yelan''s Passive Talent, Adapt With Ease, will increase your active character''s damage by up to 50 percent as long as Yelan''s Burst is still active.
The best way to make use of these bonuses is by hiring a character like Yoimiya or Ayato, who can enter the field and attack quickly for an extended period of time. Yun Jin is another excellent Normal Attack buffer (especially at higher Constellations), thus this team is excellent.
For the final slot of the team, a character like Zhongli or Thoma can be able to protect your quick-fire while also granting your team powerful Elemental Resonances. Here''s how you''ll want your main DPS'' attacks to be continuous once they receive all their buffs, and a shielder can be a great relief-pick here.
Icy And Dicey
Yelan''s Breakthrough Barb Charged Shots, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst have all enabled her to soak enemies in a storm of Hydro DMG. In fact, Yelan is an excellent facilitator of Freeze teams, exploiting the reaction between Hydro and Cryo to stop enemies moving along, posing their offensive danger, posing difficulties.
Yelan''s Breakthrough Barbs and Lingering Lifelines are fantastic at using Hydro to enemies when she''s on the field, but the Burst is the only way she can make Hydro if you have a Cryo carry. As a result, you''ll want to ensure that Yelan has a sufficient energy recharge for her Burst, especially in a small team like this.
Ganyu is a common member of Freeze teams, but since Yelan''s Burst activates on Normal Attacks, Ayaka is likely to be your Cryo DPS of choice for this team. Paired with Shenhe as well, Ayaka can do massive damage to Frozen enemies while keeping them on ice with Yelan''s coordinated attacks. Anemo units like Venti and Kazuha are common picks thanks to the RES shred and crowd control that they can provide.
Rain And Thunder, Detain And Plunder
Yelan is believed to be a substitute for Xingqiu, but if she is to be used that way, there is no compromise on this character, as both Bursts can be active on a character simultaneously. A torrent of Hydro DMG will make your CPU sweat from all the damage numbers it has to calculate.
An added benefit of this conversation is that Xingqiu generates a ton of Hydro Particles on his own, which can also assist charge Yelan''s own low-cost burst. Hydro Resonance, however, is evidently somewhat lacking, but at least Xingqiu''s Rain Swords will heal for a slightly greater amount.
Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun are both capable of providing impressive off-field Electro DMG with their totems, triggering Electro-Charged Reactions that will spawn between wet enemies and periodically zap them. However, during this window, you''ll be able to deal massive amounts of damage, so try this team out if you''re looking for exciting ways to utilize Yelan.
If you don''t have Raiden and Yae, Beidou and Fischl are another Electro duo that has an excellent integration with this team.
