All FromSoftware Soulsborne games have a special role

All FromSoftware Soulsborne games have a special role ...

One might argue that the biggest advantage of FromSoftware Soulsborne games is the difficulty of each one, but there are numerous reasons people might be attracted to Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and others. FromSoftware has a unique worldbuilding approach that draws many participants in, but often leaves them with as many questions as answers.

As you may see, each FromSoftware game is 100% unique, as there are no rules to be drawn between Bloodborne and Elden Ring, Elden Ring, and Demons Souls. However, the formula just adds to a world built from the ground up, giving long-time fans something to be happy about. For example, the recurrence of the Moonlight Sword in Elden Ring and elsewhere, is a good one. One thing each game does, notably, is make something special out of fire.

FromSoftware and Fire

Why is it so important to make Fire something special? It''s from the first game to the last, but it''s easy to overlook fire elements in some games, breaking them down to something that''s only beneficial to damage against armorless or fleshy enemies, but FromSoftwares'' fire approach is very popular in every game, including Elden Ring.

Fire Magic is considered as its own category aside from the standard Magic, as it is thought to be witchcraft and primal in nature. Players must even rescue Yuria the Witch, suggesting they see Sage Freke instead. Of course, she relents and players may learn a ton of great magic from her, including the OP Demons Souls spell Firestorm.

Fire plays a vital role in Dark Souls 1-Dark Souls 3, linking the Flame, the Chaos flame, and other features. In addition, Bloodborne takes a more complex approach, and it shows the night coming to an end. After all, Bloodborne''s Dream is on fire.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is in a similar boat here, with Ashina ending a similar end to the Hunters Dream, and the Demon of Hatred being tied to fire. Then, Elden Ring brings the whole Fire Giant war to the rest of the world, while one endingthe bad Elden Ring endingis tied to fire as players become the Lord of the Frenzied Flame.

All in all, its appearance in each game takes different approaches, but there are still a lot of features to be expected in every FromSoft game.

Elden Ring is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
