In the credits of the latest episode of Obi Wan Kenobi, a very familiar name was found, but it isnt immediately obvious who he was playing. Depending on who they are, Zach Braffs may have been a popular character, but you would be forgiven for not recognizing him.
The following is a list of spoilers for Episode 3 of the Disney+ series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Although an earlier appearance from Flea, the guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, may have been instantly noticeable, this one wasnt so much. Braff played Freck, the strange mole-looking alien who served as Obi Wan and Leias driver as they arrived to the spaceport. We don''t know too much about Freck, but we do know that he was secretly working for the Empire, and so he did his best to despise the journey to Mapuzo.
Braff''s role in Scrubs as J.D was quite a significant contrast, both in appearance and demeanor, but the inflections of his voice were just about enough to deduce who he was seen here. However, fans on the internet have quickly proved that the voice might have been Seth Rogens, and although it sounds strangely similar to Rogens, Braff is the one credited. It''s difficult to believe whether Braff was physically on set in Freck costume, or
Braff is the latest in a long line of Hollywood stars who have appeared across the franchise. Like Braff, many actors have made a cameo appearance as a character that evokes their love of Star Wars. He gave himself the role of Baron
It was certainly a nice surprise to see Braffs'' name in the credits, and cameos are always a fun Easter egg to look out for in any Star Wars release. It is a huge testament to the production staff of all movies and series, as they are constantly able to attract these big names to their work.
With this latest installment to the Star Wars franchise''s huge selection, fans are already being well treated. It''s very interesting to see what happens next in the Disney+ series, but let''s hope there''s more special appearances to come!
