Finally, the perks speed boost is being completely removed.

You may now open chests and cleanse totems silently, but the speed for doing these maneuvers has been reduced by 40/35/30%.

For a short period of time, the three furthest generators will be blocked. While the Hex totem is standing, all Survivors become exposed once the gates are opened. While this Hex isnt changing, Survivors will now be able to see the totem when within four meters of it. That range increases to 24 meters over 30 seconds, making it somewhat less effective as a Killer comeback tool.

The generator with the most progress will be detected after hooking a Survivor on the Scourge Hook. This notifys the Killer and causes the generator to lose a large amount of progress. This perks action speed has risen to 4/4.5/5.5% per Survivor, generating a maximum of 18/20/22% per day.

All basement hooks will be converted into Scourge Hooks, and those Scourge Hooks will gain an additional 10/15/20% Entity progression on hooked Survivors while a Killer is within 24 meters.

In the mid-Chapter update, why do benefits be reworked or rebalanced?

Perks in Dead by Daylight must be altered and rebalanced because it helps keep the game fresh. If players continue to utilize the same rewards, the game becomes predictable and tedious. These benefits will increase the amount of creativity in the community, ensuring that the game is enjoyable for years to come.
