Shredders Revenge character tier list for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Shredders Revenge character tier list for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ...

The game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge is a 2D brawler game developed by Tribute Games and Dotemu. It is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series from the late 80s and even maintains the art style of the previously developed TMNT games.

This gives a more nostalgic feel, allowing a lot of older players to relive their childhood memories by using modern settings and capabilities. On June 16, all of the original voice actors from the series released it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and the game has already received positive reviews from players on every platform.

All of the original characters from the series are reprising, with more than the Turtles being played this time. We have created a list of all of the playable characters, ranging them from worst to worst, encased in the single-player mode. This list is completely subjective, and we understand that opinions may vary from player to player.

7) Master Splinter

Because Splinter has taken the fourth Ninja Turtles in as their adoptive father and teacher, training them to deal with their illnesses and survive when their mutation took place. Splinter is the reason why the Turtles do what they do today.

Splinter is a good co-op party player, but he falls short in solo runs. He does have good stats, but his speed is certainly not one of them, he is also arguably the slowest fighter on this list. Splinter is in lower difficulties, but greatly suffers in higher difficulties because of this.

His powerful special attack is the only thing that keeps him stable, but the slow speed is certainly the bane of his existence. When paired with other characters that can keep enemies busy, he definitely shines as a powerhouse.

6) Casey Jones

Casey Jones is the only unlockable character in the game, but he has a lot of potential behind his moves. Despite the fact that he is more of a parody version of other vigilantes. This aspect drew the Turtles to him, and they both got along quite nicely.

Casey Jones has a diverse set of ability and speed, making him quite effective in most situations. This can be the problem sometimes as long as he doesnt excel in either department. His special attack can punch a lot, making him stand out against other adversaries in lesser situations.

He tends to fall off in higher difficulties, but the range of his attacks saves him on more than one occasion. This special attack is even more effective due to this and can make short work of his enemies while covering a huge distance. Definitely one of the more fun characters in the game.

5) April ONeil

Everyone''s favorite reporter, April, is a playable character. While not as powerful as the Turtles, April is more than capable of holding her own in battle. With her power being her biggest weakness, she more than makes up for it with her incredible speed.

Since her attack damage is inconsistent with the other characters, she keeps her strong due to her high-speed attacks, with almost every variation of her attacks being capable of handling multiple hits. This makes her an amazing combo character and may even top on this list if the Turtles werent so strong already.

Another huge advantage she has is that her special attack is a moveable one. This is because other characters specials are all static attacks. Players able to use this skill in order to combat her foes and maintain high mobility around the battlezone. This, combined with being able to always maintain a high combo meter, may make her unstoppable in certain situations.

4) Donatello

Donatello, who is putting up the back of the ninja turtles, is the first middle-of-the-road character in the game. He isnt exceptional at anything, but he is above average in most situations of combat, barring his speed. But what he lacks in speed, he more than makes up for in his range.

Donatello, who is well-known among his employees, is able to keep his enemies at bay with little worry while also dishing out high-damage attacks. He may be slow, but he is still faster than Master Splinter. This gives him an excellent advantage by positioning himself in optimal locations to utilize his heavy-staff attacks to their maximum potential. He also benefits from the ease of the range of his employees.

Donatello is certainly a sleeper pick in this game, awaiting a talented player to demonstrate his potential in battle. The range makes it more forgiving for players if they mess up his attack combos, making him more newbie-friendly.

3) Leonardo

Leonardo, the group''s samurai and our personal favorite, is a force to be reckoned with. His overall well-balanced stats make him excel in virtually any situation. He also has a great range, keeping him safe while he dishes out damage. He also has a decent speed, making it easy for Leonardo to maintain a favorable position in the combat.

Leonardo is also the most newbie-friendly game to start with. Being able to attack from a distance makes it simpler for new players to go down the road. Apart from this, he is also a well-known face-to-face fighter. This would be recommended for younger players once they are familiar with the Leonardo software.

Some players might argue that Leonardo is too straight-laced and not very exciting in the long run as compared to his more complex and fun mechanics. However, Leonardo''s balance is a good thing to have throughout all difficulty levels solo and he fits in very nicely with any type of party lineup.

2) Michelangelo

If charisma was a factor, Michelangelo would be leading this list. Unfortunately, since that isn''t part of the ranking criteria, we will have to stick to his actual ability in the game, which is certainly not half bad. This is what makes him up to the number two spot on this list, almost competing for the highest spot in several of his combat abilities.

Lets take his one obvious flaw out of the way first, which is his abysmal range. This is partly due to his choice of nunchucks, and partly to his combat technique that allows him to get close and personal with his opponents. This is without a risk because his excellent speed and power enable Michelangelo to go toe-to-toe with the most challenging adversaries the game can dwindle.

Another major advantage is his rising attack, which includes his ability to use his high speed and power to their fullest potential, dealing numerous damage in one attack. Unfortunately for Michelangelo, quick wit and charisma are not viable weapons in this game, and he just barely falls short of the final brother who takes the number one spot.

1) Raphael

Raphael, the self-proclaimed leader of the heroes in a half shell, has also led this list with his powerful, high-speed attacks. And like his brother Michelangelo, he also suffers from terrible range, which is similar to his choice of weapons. This is his only weakness, given the fact that he is a beast in battle.

The speed of Raphaels attacks is only overshadowed by their sheer strength. This materializes well through this combo abilities. He also allows players to move in a limited position, bringing the full force of his power down, knocking around their foes before he receives a chance to counterattack.

Raphael is capable of flawlessly repositioning himself in the heat of battle, while retaining him at a distance from his opponents while using his close-range movements to reduce them faster than his other brothers may. However, Raph may not have Dons range, Leos balance, or Mikes quick wit, but he excels at every difficulty level, making him the ideal choice for any player.

All of the playable characters in the game are equally acceptable. Did you agree with our choices? Remember, no characters are objectively bad and each of them still presents their own set of challenges. TMNT: Shredders Revenge is still a new game but we hope we have managed to make it simpler. The game may be fun solo but it is best enjoyed with friends, making it the most ideal way for players to clear that annoying level or defeat that difficult boss.
