Studio Asobo has announced the release date and rat powers for the Plague Tale Requiem ...

At the end of the presentation, Studio Asobo announced the release date for A Plague Tale: Requiems, which included ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS support on PC. Along with getting a look at Requiems'' story and combat during the presentation, Hugo will send swarms of rodents after his foes and assist avoid fights whenever possible.

Hugo and Amicia have once again been removed from the original game and traveled over the ocean to new lands to build their home, though Hugo is reluctant to help, since she is hesitant to murder people. A curse afflicts Hugo and Amicia, who are struggling to remove it.

As they meet some of their coworkers, they face challenges of being forced to flee the Mediterranean, but while they are pursued yet again by state forces knights tend to get a bit snarky. Not everyone the siblings meet is out to harm them.

The gameplay sequence Asobo presented during the presentation followed the siblings out of a town, after a kind soul helped them escape from their pursuers, and into some catacombs in an abandoned quarry. Hugos curse allows him to communique with rats, borrowing their senses to keep an eye on the smell of blood, allowing him to spot nearby soldiers even if they are hiding.

If you want to be a bit noisier and more violent, Amicia is capable of handily dispatching an unidentified soldier without attracting anyone''s attention or not.

Amicia and Hugo talk about how many lives Amicia has taken, implying that she probably didn''t need to kill quite as many soldiers as she did, but it appears like that the pang of conscience is only for story purposes. You still need to kill as many soldiers as you can to get by and in some brutal ways. Knife attacks, neck snaps, and fire bombs are all a good game.
