Thor: Love and Thunder is only a couple of weeks away, and the promotional tour is in full swing as a result. Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson have given away new pictures showing Chris Hemsworth''s Thor adapting to Natalie Portman as a Mighty Thor.
Hemsworth''s titular hero embarks on a journey of self-discovery, which was disrupted by Christian Bale''s arrival. Gorr is determined to kill all gods for the mistreatment he''s suffered, but Gorr''s mission will bring Thor and Jane Foster back together to defeat this sinister new villain.
Waititi presented a new film in which Thor and Korg sit together in a crowded area filled with Asgardians (presumably). As Kirby Foster converses with members of the crowd, Korg attempts to extract Thor''s past past with his former hammer, and attempts to get along as well. Instead, he finds himself summoning Stormbreaker, which he claims was his intention all along.
Thompson reveals a different clip on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which consists of Valkyrie, Thor, Foster, and Korg. It appears the group is trying to identify a danger (presumably Gorr) and deduce that they must be in the shadow realm. When Thor explains that the atmosphere in the shadow realm contains a dark so powerful that color almost worries to venture there, Foster says, "If it''s color we need, let''s bring the rainbow," before flying off on her own. The new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer reveals that Thor and Foster will face a few increasing difficulties. Although Thor will have to get used to seeing Mjolnir in the hands of another person, Foster has a snag in completing her superhero avatar.
Both heroes should have an interesting character journey. Even if their romance has a little changed, it''s nice to see that both are capable of working well together.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.
