A Plague Tale: Requiems is officially available on October 18 for current-gen consoles and PCs via Steam.
The seasoned rat-based mansion in A Plague Tale has allowed Hugo to perceive the presence of animals without having to see them, thus giving him access to walls. This allows him to see through the walls, making it possible while on the run.
Amicia, meanwhile, has developed new martial skills. Her initial armament of alchemical tools has been enhanced with a crossbow, and when pressed, Amicia can now shoot or defeat an enemy to death in a close-range defeat.
While it''s clear that stealth is still encouraged. There are lots of soldiers hunting Amicia and Hugo, who would not take them down on their own, only by working together can they escape traps and discover their way to a mysterious island that might provide refuge.
Crouching, crawling, and staying behind cover are the surest ways for Amicia and Hugo to remain safe. For soldiers who simply refuse to leave their way, Amicia can resort to her crossbow, but her targeted death shout will attract attention from nearby soldiers. Amicia''s sling or a handy pot may burn or blind soldiers so long as she has the alchemical abilities to fabricate her improvised bomb.
Hugo''s powers are far greater. Although it appears to be that this power takes its toll, Hugo may be reluctant to use this power for too long, leaving Amicia alone to save them both.
Pre-orders are now available on Focus Entertainment''s website, with A Plague Tale: Requiem coming in both standard and Collector''s editions for those who want extra stuff. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and on Steam on October 18.
