Wasp died in Doctor Strange's Multiverse of Madness in the early 1990s ...

The spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness follow.

In a horrific scene, the sequel to Doctor Strange included intentions to murder Wasp.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which was officially released in May, has been hampered with with a darker script under the direction of Sam Raimi from The Evil Dead.

A few gloomy moments include Wanda aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) that has become a villain in several eras. In the film''s first draft, a version of Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) was supposed to be among Wanda''s victims.

Wasp was part of a group of a superhero group Strange meets on Earth-838. While it''sn''t clear who else was on the gang alongside Wasp, what''s certain is that Wanda wasn''t going to survive the war and would be smushed to death.

"Yeah, I thought I saw Aliens and was just contemplating the way those Marines are massacred," the screenwriter said in an audio commentary on Doctor Strange 2.

"I think the Wasp was originally in a version of the Illuminati, and the Wasp sank down and flew at Wanda, and [Wanda] just clapped her hands and smushed the Wasp in the first draft."

In long-anticipated films, Lilly is nowhere to be seen in Multiverse of Madness. However, the final-cut Illuminati gang have given fans a glimpse of other superheroes.

Patrick Stewart is shown as Professor X, and John Krasinski is as the Fantastic Four''s member, Reed Richards, who is preparing for the next major series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The sequel to Doctor Strange in Madness is now available on Disney+.
