In season 4, we expect Umbrella Academy to answer many of them ...

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 timeline is covered in this article. If you knew it, please make an appointment!

The Hargreeves kids thought they had a grasp on the space-time continuum, then they are thrown for another loop or, rather, into another loop. In the end, the members of the Umbrella Academy discover themselves in an alternate reality where their father Reginald has his name on a number of buildings, and they have no powers (and they are not the only ones).

What does all this mean in the vast scheme of the Umbrella Academy? Yes, this is a complicated question, and Netflix hasn''t renewed the series yet, but the concept of not having a season 4 is difficult to imagine, especially since there is still a whole lot of other things in the air for the series beyond just the jump to a different timeline.

Is Allison a goddamant at the end of the Umbrella Academy?

After Allison bashes Reginald over the head, she starts fleeing with his machine. While the rest of the Hargreeves try to control her, Viktor allows her go, claiming that he does trust her only for her to push the button everyone else didnt want.

It is unclear if what Allison did was actually something she fully understood. After all, it appears unlikely that Reginald would have provided her with not only Claire by her side but Ray, a choice that Emmy Raver-Lampman expects to make at some point. I believe she will experience something profoundly different from her.

Why do they have authority?Where did Sloane go?

Im not an expert on future technology, but an alien mindset. Yet was the world that Reginalds machine threw them into where the remaining Hargreeves children had no powers, and also Sloane was gone for some reason where he intended to live?

Reginald is seemingly even more a captain of industry. This new world might, perhaps, be a testament to what he could accomplish without no super children at all, or perhaps? Had he incorporated all of their powers into some other alien scheme entirely. Parents who remember everything (Allison, Sparrow Ben, Luther, Klaus, Viktor, Five, and Lila) might be isolated because because their involvement in the machine that brought them there, however it failed.

Aidan Gallagher (Five) predicts that everyone will be adapting in their own way as far as Five goes. It''s tough to say, because he is no longer relying on his abilities to sort of make up the physical difference between what hes used to and what his body and reflexes think he can do versus what his body has actually been trained for. So he may have to be a bit more clever in future seasons.

Ritu Arya, who plays Lila, isn''t quite so optimistic for her character: [Lila] wouldn''t know how to function. I think a lot of her confidence and bravado comes from this power. So I dont know how shell be able to live. Perhaps shell be really clumsy.

Who is that with Reginald at the window?

From what it looks like, the woman next to Reginald is the same woman who has always been by his side, either in the one direction or another: Alice, his wife, and the basis for the Mother robot he kept around the Umbrella Academy (and the Sparrow Academy, although she was not there as Mother, you perv).

In the flashback to Luther''s time on the moon, we see that original-flag Reginald had kept Alice in cryogenesis on the moon. It stands to be clear (at least as much as anything else Umbrella Academy) that in this new world in which Reginald requires much more money, maybe he was able to save Alice in some way?

What the fuck is Reginalds deal though?

Although he dominates the Umbrella Academy (and by proxy, The Umbrella Academy), we know very little about Reginald''s whole thing. On the 12th hour of October 1, 1989, he was keen to adopt the children who were magically(?) born to 43 women. As an eccentric billionaire and inventor, the pilot of Umbrella Academy reveals that Reginald was perfectly suited to adopting so many children as possible.

As of season 3, we know it was vital to him to have seven children for whatever technology he was used at the end of the season. And he is an alien, who might make a difference in the way he was, at least at one time, capable of running in the same circles as the shadowy group that ordered the hit on JFK. Pogo was fearful in the season 3 timeline, and in the new season 4, his name is on almost every skyscraper in the city.

This is why the comic book has largely deviated, and in the book Reginald is introduced as an alien within a few pages. After three seasons, it is time we get a little bit more insight into what his endgame is (in any version of reality).

What is the Jennifer Incident?

The death of Ben has been linked to the Jennifer incident, with little discussion from the Umbrella Academy members. (Even Sparrow Ben appears uninterested to take any further into what happened to his alternate self.) So what does the act, the same as the incident?

We still haven''t learned until season 3, because some have predicted that Ben died by suicide, and the plaque at the manor stated that May the darkness within you find peace in the light. But Gerard Way, who co-written the comics, told Forbes that it''s a mystery that he had not answered completely. I immediately wrote the character to be dead, that was his purpose. I always knew I was going to resolve it, according to Way. The same thing about The Umbrella Academy, which is almost like

Sparrow Ben appears to be at a decent start point for the show, although it has never been particularly loyal to its source material.

Why does Harlans briefcase say Lester Pocket?

Is it meaningful that Harlans'' briefcase claims Lester Pocket? Like many things Umbrella Academy, possibly! The camera is still holding him using this name a lot. Another Jennifer Incident, perhaps, is the fact that the character is unidentified in a way that isn''t entirely clear yet.

Why did future Five not want Five to save the world?

Five discovers that the phantom founder of the Time Commission is actually Five! He cautions Young Five that this a lost arm is what you have coming. Then he sends a darker warning: Before his machine powers off and he dies.

Five loses his arm in the final fight against the Reginalds machinations. But in the park where they ended up in the new reality, Five''s arm is returned. It''s unclear if Older Five was only warning about the Hotel Oblivion showdown, or if they have just triggered something much darker. (Knowing the Hargreeves yeah, probably!

Why does Grace think the Kugelblitz is God?

Most likely this is a reference to a comic book in which Vanya (as the character is still known in the book) notices Robot Mom wearing a cross necklace. When she asks about it, the mom takes her to Norway, where she is introduced to the Sparrows.

Given how much a show has deviated from the books, it''s likely that this is more a tool to mix in some of the same themes, plots, and imagery without directly remaking it.

Wait, so did anyone actually die?

As for any of the other siblings who got Kugelblitzed, like Marcus, yes and no. Harlan did off screen, apparently at Allison''s hands, but Klaus and Luther were each killed by Reginald.

Is there anything it is about a remix of things, but with the timeline once again restored? Who knows! With Luther and Klaus looking to be completely reinstated with no harm done, and with Luther even without a gorilla body. Whether Harlan, Pogo, or any of the other people who died in the alt-original-alt reality will return well, there is nothing the Umbrella Academy loves more than a remix.
