Fortnite versions of Among Us crewmates are imagined by a YouTuber ...

Fortnite sets a high standard for absurdity. It''s a game in which actors like Rick Sanchez, Naruto, Darth Vader, and Tom Holland (Spider-Man Holland, Uncharted Holland) can take up arms in a 100-player battle royale arena.

Still, YouTuber Ryan, who goes by the monicker 12th Hour, manages to make its world even more odd and a lot creepier with his custom-made events. Most recently, he shared a video for an imagined event inspired by the viral hit mafia game, Among Us, which adds horrifyingly large crew members to the world of Fortnite.

As the player character rises, the huge monstrosity begins approaching. The screen fades to black, and then closes to a meeting of crewmates at an Emergency Meeting table from Among Us, covered with a Fortnite map. I will be able to see the whole clip here.

These custom events aren''t an in-game modification, but they also involve a tedious process of recording and editing footage using visual effects. Ryan starts by using in-game content to make it appear like it''s actually in the game. He then adds additional effects to the video, and then lets it show up. The Among Us clip takes about three days to put into production.

Ryan initially created Fortnite montage videos, then proceeded to creating custom gameplay. The first one he made, called I Made Fortnite R-Rated, received more than a million views, and decided to continue making videos in tandem. I knew it would also be a joy to make, by means of a huge among us character in Fortnite. He added that following the news to Twitter.

For him, it''s about having fun with Fortnite and creating content. My favorite part about making these events is just being able to be creative, having fun, learning, and ultimately doing what he loves.
