The Sith''s rage is unending, and so are the bugs in games.
In a tweet, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords was released over 17 years ago, but the Nintendo Switch port has a game breaking bug that makes it impossible to complete the game. Developer Aspyr Media has acknowledged the issue in the comments.
The Sith Lords were released on Nintendo Switch on June 8 and were told in a promotional post that the company was aware that there was no way to complete the game, stating that they were stuck on the Onderon Basilisk crash for a week now. In response, the company stated that its issue is known, but it is not able to give an estimated date for a fix.
The Sith Lordsis, a third-person action game developed by Obsidian Entertainment, follows a lone Jedi who undertakes a task to destroy the Jedi. Similar to previous Star Wars games in the Knights of the Old Republic, it is up to the player if theyll embrace the Dark or Light side of the Force. It has since been ported to mobile devices, MacOS, and Windows PC.
Update: In a statement to Axios, the studio explained that the bug only affects a limited number of users, and the company has published a cheat code to enable it.
