The New Dendro Element from Genshin Impact Explained

The New Dendro Element from Genshin Impact Explained ...

Genshin Impact is a popular fantasy open-world game that allows millions of players to fully experience the power of elemental abilities as they leverage them against frightening monsters and imminent bosses alike. Moreover, beloved personalities such as Zhongli, Venti, Klee, and Diluc have clocked themselves as iconic characters in gaming culture.

Recent reports on miHoYo''s Genshin Impact suggest that a unique new character will be included on the roster as soon as the next major region begins. According to the lore, seven regions are currently on the horizon, with the fourth region likely to be the nation of Sumeru, which will likely debut during the Genshin Impact 3.0 update just as Inazuma was launched during version 2.0.

Who Will Wield Dendro

There are no playable Dendro characters, although it is believed that the first will be a Su-like character from Honkai Impact 3rd. This would not be the first time that miHoYo has sought inspiration for characters from its sister game, as it''s previously featured with Yae Miko, Keqing, Raiden Shogun, and a few others.

This Su Expy will maintain a high-ranking position in Sumeru, somewhere beneath the region''s Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali, also known as the Flower God or the God of Wisdom. Both characters will likely be introduced with the Dendro Vision in future updates. It''s unlikely that Su will appear on the next banner as other characters are more likely to be released first.

Project Celestia, a Twitter account dedicated to Genshin leaks, claims that a new boss was accidentally added to game data. It may be called Jade-Plumed Terrorshroom, as was the name of the file the information was in, and it will remove Nagadus Emerald Gems or Dendro Gems if fought. This boss will likely be used as an ascension material for updating new Dendro characters that users opted to pull.

Baizhu, a quest-exclusive NPC who was previously seen in Chapter 1 of the Archon Quest, is the only character that has been seen to enhance the Dendro element. Yaoyao, another NPC who has yet been identified, is also alleged to be a Dendro. In the future, these players will be able to ascend with the Dendro DMG Bonus and/or Dendro Resistance.

Several rumors from well-known Genshin Impact leakers have suggested that this new element, which falls outside the currently playable Anemo, Geo, and Electro Visions, will be available via version 3.0. It''s also looking like Aether or Lumine, depending on who players chosen at the beginning of their travels, will be able to select this ability, as they''ve done with the previous three.

Genshin''''s Dendro Ability Explained

Dendro is derived from the Greek word for "tree," which is interestingly enough. In Genshin Impact, Dendro will deal Pyro damage over time, and in particular areas such as grass, there will be a spreading burning effect. Notably, the Dendro element will not display damage taken status as other elements.

Many enemies in the present explorable map are already capable of generating Dendro shields and constructs. Additionally, players should use a Pyro character to combat these defenses. Dendro Slime, Large Dendro Slime, and Large Dendro Slime, along with Large Dendro Slime, and Large Dendro Field. Both include Canine Bunshin.

Genshin Impact 2.8 will be the final upgrade in the Inazuma quest line, which will last the Sumeru region at an estimated release date of two or three months. MiHoYo hasn''t confirmed the actual release date, but believes the new Dendro capabilities will coincide with the release of the game on Nintendo Switch consoles.

Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, tablets, PS4, and Xbox 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
