Love Island has confirmed that the singer-songwriter has been a key player in the music industry ...

Antigoni Buxton, the singer-songwriter, has confirmed that she will go into the villa as the new bombshell.

Antigoni has a variety of songs on her YouTube channel, with the most popular, ''Way Too Much'' at the time of writing. She''s also been romantically linked to former Islander Jack Fowler, while her mother is celebrity chef Tonia Buxton.

Antigoni was asked why she wanted to appear on Love Island now and said: "I''ve been single for about a year and a half, and for the whole of the previous year my goal was to have as many different experiences as possible.

"I really want to say "yes" to things. Why not. I''m a Cypriot girl and I am glad to be outdoors. I''ve got nothing to lose!

Antigoni''s sister updated her Instagram profile once more, revealing that she''ll be managing her social media while she''s staying in the villa. Multiple former Islanders and BBC Radio 1''s Melvin Odoom all expressed their delight to see Antigoni appear on the show.

Antigoni''s post is shared (@antigoni).

Tonight''s episode of Love Island saw some departures, as Amber Beckford and Ikenna Ekwonna were both left behind.

Ikenna stated in a post-show interview that his time was up as soon as he was revealed to be in the bottom three, but didn''t mind as he enjoyed his experience. Amber, on the other hand, was completely shocked by the dumping and did not expect to return.

Love Island is available on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox.
