Ryan Moloney, who plays Neighbours, has apologized for the Logie Awards ...

Following a disappointing tribute to the soap, Neighbours star Ryan Moloney has scolded this year''s Logie Awards winners.

Neighbours will sadly reach a close forever in August, 37 years after its television debut, but it never received the ceremonial send-off it deserved at the Logies last weekend.

Hughesy, Ed, and Erin were joined by the Toadie Rebecchi actors to reflect on their experiences, according to the actor. "We met and we did our mandatory three-hour talking to people on the red carpet."

"When we arrived in the room, we ended ourselves being divided up and stuck on two different tables. It was terrible!

"Our table was actually stuck behind the cameras. We couldn''t even see the stage. It was utterly dismal the package they drafted."

After a highlight reel was played out, Neighbours veterans should''ve been invited on stage to kiss their goodbyes, but instead two random ex-cast members were.

"Daniel [MacPherson] and Nat [Bassingthwaighte] are just absolutely stunning people, and absolutely nothing against them, but we''ve got people who have been on TV for over 30 years each, and I think probably the least they can do is to get us to say something," he said.

"I mean, we''re in the bloody [Logies] Hall of Fame."

"That''s not how you treat people and a show that''s in the Hall of Fame." I mean, good luck to the Logies.

Neighbours has chosen one of the most remarkable companies in the world, citing its incredible legacy.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play.
