The Marvel Cinematic Universe is continuing to develop its Thunderbolts film, with the development of Black Widow, which has hired the script''s director.
The film will feature stars from Marvel like Suicide Squad, focusing on a team of supervillains hired by the government to complete their dirty work. Over the MCU, we''ve seen Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine recruit actors such as Yelena and John Walker.
Wyatt Russell, star of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, has admitted that no-one from Marvel Studios has been in contact with any future projects despite all of the on-screen setup.
"You know the idea, right? I''m not a moron. I mean, I know what they''re thinking of, but you don''t know when they''re going to do it, if they''re going to do it, what''s going to happen," he told The Playlist.
"When you get the phone call, you get the phone call. They do a fantastic job of keeping it from everybody, because, you know, they''ve got something to protect, and I always say like, I''d rather not say. I''m just not going to say it. I don''t need to know.
"Just tell me when you want me to show up. Other than that, just keep me in the dark. I don''t care if you do tell me before I get to the gym, because right now, I don''t look like John Walker...
"They keep it really, really tight, and it''s like, you respect it because they''ve got other''''s bottom lines to look out for than what they believe I need to know."
Though this group of villains is one of the topics being discussed through the films, viewers believe the franchise is attempting to enliven another comic storyline as its next Endgame-level crossover.
The first three Thor films to be released on Disney+ are July 7 and July 8.
