House of the Dragon, a game-playing game based on Game of Thrones, has unveiled a new look at major dragon Syrax.
The new HBO prequel is expected to introduce a whole set of new characters as it examines the Targaryen dynasty before the events of Game of Thrones.
It''s unlikely that dragons would be in a Targaryen story, but one of the key actors is Syrax, the dragon of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is seen behind Emma D''Arcy''s character in a new poster.
If you can''t wait until August when the show begins, then please be wary, as a series of Funko POP!s have been launched to get us even more excited, which you can pre-order from Pop in a box.
Syrax is among the company''s selling prices at 11.99, while the figures of Rhaenyra, Alicent Hightower Daemon Targaryen, Viserys Targaryen, Corlys Velaryon, and Otto Hightower are also going for the same price, as are the tens of thousands of POP!s from the original Game of Thrones series.
Debut was made-up effects artist Barrie Gower, who teased what House of the Dragon''s fans can expect.
"I think again, we can''t say anything awful about it," he said. One thing we can say is that, going into it, it''s certainly a completely different story to Game of Thrones, it''s only years before," he said.
"The scripts are incredible. They''re very impressive. And it''s going to be very exciting to see how that''s been received. But it''s really well-written, and there are a few fantastic stories in there, according to me. That''s all I can say, really, about that."
House of the Dragon will air on HBO in the United States, Sky Atlantic and NOW in the United Kingdom. Seasons 1-8 of Game of Thrones are available on DVD and Blu-ray.
