With Emilia Clarke, his former co-star, who is weighing in on the news, the spin-off of Game of Thrones'' featuring Kit Harrington has been all but confirmed.
After Jon Snow''s arrest as part of his eighth season, HBO was reportedly putting into early development a spin-off.
Despite a lack of official confirmation from the network or the actor himself, Clarke stepped up and put supporters at ease. The false statements.
"He has told me about it," she told the BBC. "And I know it exists. It''s happening," she said.
"It''s been created by Kit as far as I can understand, so he''s there from the ground up. So what you will be monitoring, hopefully, if it happens, is certified by Kit Harington."
The news may come as a surprise as Harrington had previously expressed his desire to steer clear of roles that were too similar to the one of the Night''s Watchman.
"I''m confident that someone who was willing to take on it," he said of the incident. "It is not a masculine force that the world needs to see much more of," he said of the role he had played at the time.
Clarke is unable to follow Harrington''s example and reverse her decision to perform in the show.
The actress expressed a desire to watch the next House of The Dragon "as a fresh viewer," but she is adamantly grateful for her time on the show, although she is still ready to do so.
"No, I believe I''m done," she clarified.
Seasons 1-8 of Game of Thrones are available on DVD and Blu-ray. The spin-off House of the Dragon is now filming and will air on August 21, 2022 in the United Kingdom.
