Sega and Creative Assembly, the creator of Alien: Isolation and the Total War games, announced a brand-new multiplayer sci-fi first-person shooter called Hyenas on Wednesday. Players in the role of scavengers who compete in the Mars billionaires and competitors, according to a new trailer. That loot includes Sonic the Hedgehog figures, Rubiks Cubes, and a very well-preserved pastrami on rye from Katzs

In Hyenas'' fiction, according to the games'' official description:

The masses have taken over Mars, and the rest of humanity is living their worst life in The Taint, a gigantic orbiting slum. While humanity is attempting to survive, the Mars billionaires are more concerned about fulfilling their nostalgic dreams. Plunderships, massive retail spacecrafts, and salvaged pop-culture artefacts, are now available at space-high prices to satisfy their demands.

Battles in Hyenas will take place in zero gravity, using futuristic weapons and defensive measures, such as protective foam that can imprison your enemies and set up on-the-fly walls. At the games website, interested players may register to take part in an alpha test.

Hyenas is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. A release date was not disclosed.
